Expo GEOWONDER

Following its inaugural run at the Zwin Nature Park, where GEOWONDER was on display from 1 March to 1 June 2025, the exhibition will be given a new lease of life as a travelling exhibition. In the autumn of 2025, exhibition designer Excelmans Graphics was commissioned to adapt the exhibition for various venues within the Scheldt Delta Geopark.

On 17 April 2026, the travelling version officially opened at the North Brabant Provincial Government Building. The exhibition was opened by Provincial Executive Member Saskia Boelema during a project meeting of (Be)Leefbare Schelde. From North Brabant, GEOWONDER will travel on to various locations in the Scheldt Delta, so that new visitors can continually discover the geological and landscape story of the area.

Where can GEOWONDER be seen?

The travelling exhibition will visit various locations in the Scheldt Delta:

• 17 April – 7 June 2026: North Brabant Provincial Government Building
• 7 – 21 June 2026: St Gertrude’s Church, Bergen op Zoom
• 30 July – 27 August 2026: Boeverbos Provincial Government Building, Bruges
• 23 September 2026: New Rupel Clay Museum
• 2 – 4 October 2026: New Rupel Clay Museum
• Autumn 2026: Puurs-Sint-Amands

This touring exhibition brings GEOWONDER to life at various locations within the Scheldt Delta Geopark. In this way, the exhibition shares the story of the area with residents, visitors and other interested parties at different venues.

​The GEOWONDER exhibition is a photography exhibition that took place from 1 March to 1 June 2025 at the Zwin Nature Park in Knokke-Heist, Belgium.

The exhibition showcases the winning images from the GEOWONDER photography competition, for which the jury selected the finest photographs from over 400 entries across various regions and categories, including animals, plants, climate and landscape. All these photographs were taken in the Scheldt Delta Geopark.

From June 2025, the GEOWONDER exhibition will tour the UNESCO Global Geopark Schelde Delta.
