Why this project?
More and more companies are looking to embrace circular business practices. They are seeking ways to use raw materials and residual streams more efficiently. In practice, however, they often encounter barriers such as a lack of time, resources, knowledge, overview, or suitable partners.
Taking further circular steps requires collaboration between companies, sometimes across sectors and national borders. Such collaboration does not happen automatically. This is exactly where BOND Circular Agent aims to make a difference.
BOND Circular Agent - what is it exactly?
BOND Circular Agent is a cross-border project within Interreg Flanders–Netherlands, in which 11 Flemish and Dutch partners have joined forces.
We are developing a methodology for a Circular Agent that supports companies in realising concrete circular solutions. The focus is not solely on theory or inspiration, but on feasible steps and actionable business cases.
BOND Circular Agent brings companies together, structures the process, and helps turn circular ambitions into action.
Our approach in four steps
BOND Circular Agent follows a clear, practice-oriented approach.
We guide companies that want to operate more circularly step by step, considering their specific realities and opportunities.
✓ Step 1: Gaining insight
Together with companies, we map material and residual flows, needs and ambitions. We explore where opportunities currently exist to work more efficiently and more circularly.
✓ Step 2: Connecting
We bring companies together across sectors and borders. The Circular Agent facilitates dialogue and helps identify and explore potential circular matches.
✓ Step 3: Developing
Promising ideas are further developed by evaluating their technical feasibility, economic added value, and societal impact, with guidance and support from the project partners.
✓ Step 4: From idea to action
Companies receive guidance towards concrete implementation. Where needed, we provide referrals to relevant expertise, funding opportunities or follow-up pathways.
