Discover the Wine Street's future Wine Hubs with our ultimate holiday tips! Work is currently underway to develop Wijnstraat, but we're already taking you on a journey along the most special places, from a Wine Restaurant to the ascent of a historic castle that will act as the gateway to the Wine Street. Whether you are a seasoned wine lover or just looking for a relaxing holiday full of flavour and experience, these tips will help you make the most of the summer.

☀️Walking through the South Limburg hills
From the Visit Zuid-Limburg Shop in Gulpen, which will be transformed into a wine hub over the next few years as part of the Wine Street, you can already set off to discover various wine routes. Along the way, you will be treated to the most beautiful views of the hilly landscape and walk along or through the vineyards. Discover the beautiful wine routes around Eys-Wahlwiller, Noorbeek, Ubachsberg, Winthagen and Vijlen-Holset or set off a little further afield along the Routes des Vins in Berg en Terblijt - Houthem St. Gerlach, Meerssen and Sittard. Of course, there are plenty of places to stop along the way for a glass of home-grown wine. Choose your route, follow the grapes and enjoy! 🍇

☀️ Wine hub: Abdij van Rolduc (NL)
This summer, visit Rolduc Abbey and enjoy delicious local wines. Walk through the beautiful vineyard of the Winzer of Rode. In our opinion, the most beautiful part of the largest contiguous abbey complex in the Benelux! 😍
☀️Wine hub: Kasteel van Leut (BE)
In the courtyard of the Castle of Leut, you can enjoy a delicious selection of local wines and regional products under the bright sunshine. Be sure to visit as this site is being expanded into a wonderful wine hub from which to explore the Wijnstraat!

There is a lot going on at and around the historic Horst Castle site. The moated castle is currently undergoing extensive restoration to grow into a beautiful wine hub from which visitors can explore the Wine Street.
