The International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE 2026) to be held in The Hague.
The Hague, the Netherlands, 17 October 2024 - The International Energy Agency's Ocean Energy Systems (IEA-OES) announced that the next edition of the International Conference on Ocean Energy, ICOE 2026, will take place in The Hague, Netherlands. The announcement was made at this year's event, held September 17-19 in Melbourne, Australia. This energy conference, especially focused on wave, tidal, ocean current, OTEC and salinity gradient technologies, will be organized by the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA), in collaboration with partners Campus@Sea, The Hague & Partners, Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), TU Delft, IRO and NedZero.

Last week, the Offshore For Sure partnership came together in Breda for their bi-annual project meeting—an important moment to reconnect, share progress, strengthen relationships, and strategize for the project’s next phase. Offshore For Sure brengt wind, zon, getijden, golven en opslag bij elkaar
Wat maakt de belofte van zon op zee zo groot? In het interview in Solar Magazine (pag 68) verwijst Peter Scheijgrond (Bluespring) naar de situatie in België en Nederland. Er moeten nog heel veel zonnepanelen worden gelegd. De oplossing ligt in meervoudig gebruik van de zee, en vooral in de combinatie met windparken.
